Climbing up somewhere high to take the shot is always very exiting. You are never able to decide between being more worried for your dear life or the camera you’re carrying.
The last one was a bit winterish for the warm weathers we’ve had here lately. These lassies are good friends of mine and great photographers. This was shot at the Lahti harbour, when we were there enjoying summer and having a few cold ones.
Well this is a bit older one. From last winter to be exact. This was a nice one to shoot because it was the first roll I shot with a Hassleblad and I was (and still am) learning to be fast and accurate with it. One of those situations you miss so many times even with your #1 camera.
I love the feeling when I have to get on my knees or lay down to get the photo. Especially when it happens to be a good one and you can pat yourself on a shoulder and say, “Good work, laddy.”
I finally got my hands onto a Mamiya 7! We have a library-like loaning system at my school for cameras and lenses and there are some special ones in the shelf. Now finally the Mamiya 7 was loanable again!
I managed to shoot a few rolls with it before I had to get it returned but with a little luck I will get it back for the summer so I can have some more fun with it!
